5 out of 5 stars Greiving   November 20, 2009
Belle (west palm beach, fl)
This book was recommended to me and I bought copies for myself and four siblings.
I don't read it everyday, but I carry it with me and open it at those tough moments.
It helps.

5 out of 5 stars Such a moving book......   November 15, 2009
Angela K. Debartolo (Fayetteville, NC)
I bought two of these books for two co workers and friends who lost a son and mother recently. They swear by these books. They said it was such a comfort to read the words daily and they bring them to work everyday and constantly thank me for being so thoughtful. I felt it was a better way than saying "sorry for your loss" it was a way to help them heal and know they are not in this alone....

5 out of 5 stars Peace in chaos   November 11, 2009
P. Hawk (Crete, NE USA)
A couple of colleagues gave me Healing After Loss after my sister's death. I was surprised how peaceful I felt when I read the book. I like the mix of poetry, prose and prayers from many spiritual traditions. I have given the book to several friends who have also suffered loss.

5 out of 5 stars Everyone will need this book at some point   October 19, 2009
Kelli Sefton
This is my gift of choice when someone I know looses a close family member.
It helps them realize what they are experiencing is normal. Highly recommended,
skip the flowers, wait a few weeks then send this book, it will make a difference
in the person's life.

5 out of 5 stars The Best Little Book Out There!   October 13, 2009
Mary Lou Duggan
Using quotes from various sources, the author touches on all areas of grief through short reflections that will very often be just what you need to hear. Everyone in our support group voted it higher than any other resource and I use it to express sympathy to friends when the need arises.
